Vision
To help children reach their potential and become contributing members of their families and communities.
Mission
We are dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism and related disorders through empirically based interventions and state-of-the-art individualized programs.
Our Center will accomplish this by:
- Developing, refining, implementing and evaluating an early intervention model, for children 18 months to 5 years of age, for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
- Replicating the early intervention model in public sites and increasing service delivery capacity within the community.
- Providing day treatment services for children ages 24 months – 18 years.
- Providing school consult services for children ages 3 to 18 years.
- Providing home and community-based outreach services for children ages 18 months to 18 years.
- Providing multi-disciplinary evaluations for differential diagnosis of ASD with an emphasis on identifying children’s individual learning style, programming needs, and family needs.
Core Values:
- Every person has a purpose and meaning in life and is capable of learning and contributing.
- People have the right to dignity, respect, and understanding.
- Children are a part of families and families have diverse values, cultural backgrounds, expectations, and needs.
- Teaching that builds upon individual strengths and interests, and is based upon reciprocal relationships, is critical to learning and developing.
- Supportive, positive teaching environments are critical to learning.
