School Consultation
School consultations are designed to support one particular student’s educational progress or a classroom of student’s progress. The consultations are meant to be collaborative between the current multidisciplinary educational team at the school and the consultant. The consultations may be designed to specifically address particular questions or educational concerns or include a more comprehensive assessment of individualized educational plan design, student learning, data-driven decision making, optimizing teaching techniques, and team approach to educational intervention.
In addition, school consultations may take the form of paraprofessional and/or professional training on a topic of interest such as: characteristics of autism, social-emotional and cognitive development, adolescent development and autism, toilet training children with autism, and integrating students with autism into a general education curriculum/classroom.
Program Development
The program development service is designed to work collaboratively with the professionals at existing or future program sites to incorporate empirically supported educational practices for students with autism spectrum disorders.
